Brief Description of the Activities:
Young Tourist Union “Travelers’ Club” systematically organizes tours for students and youth to different parts of Georgia. The club has got a site in Internet “Tourism in Georgia” In May 30-31, 2000 the club organized the first regional conference for students and young scholars “Tourism and the future of Georgia”. - In 1999-2000 a new specialty was opened with in the Commerce and Marketing faculty: Resorts-hotels and international tourism Commerce. The club is planning to organize regular club meetings, conferences, seminars, training and educational courses, create regular specialized courses for teachers of tourism.
